Our latest spot for The National Lottery, ‘Pockets’, follows a couple’s enduring love and sense of hope over three decades, from 1994 – the year of the first-ever Lotto draw – to the present day.
Putting The National Lottery’s distinctive pink Lotto ticket at the heart of this couple’s story – always in the pocket of our protagonist – the ad celebrates the lives of those determined believers and the relationship regular Lotto players have with their precious ticket. It aims to reignite the excitement for players who have been trying their luck with the lottery for decades.
The 90” film directed by award-winning director, Tom Hooper, is an evolution of our heartwarming Christmas campaign, ‘A Christmas Love Story’, which highlighted the joy of winning during the festive season.
The TV spot is supported by a fully integrated campaign across cinema, OOH, press, social, radio, digital display, and retail.
